Mazda3 sedans are equipped with a 150-bhp 2.0L I-4 and 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. An optional 160-bhp 2.3L I-4 comes with a standard 5-speed manual or automatic. The addition of variable valve timing the 2.0L I4 increases horsepower in the Mazda3 i to 150. A 5-speed automatic replaces the 4-speed automatic on the 2.3L equipped Mazda3 s models. A Grand Touring model adds some more luxurious features like heated leather seats and an upgraded stereo.
