The MKT is a tall wagon with three rows of seating and styling guaranteed to draw stares. The unique exterior styling wraps a more conventional interior with plentiful room in the first two rows and a useful third row. The MKT offers both a 3.7L V6 and a turbocharged 3.5L V6 rated at over 350-bhp. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive are offered. The MKT offers a panoramic roof with skylights over the rear rows of seats. The MKT wears large 19-inch and 20-inch wheels with low-profile tires.

The new MKT is based on the Ford Flex, but shares little in terms of styling with its sibling. The MKT offers a 268-bhp 3.7L V6 and a turbocharged 3.5L V6 rated at over 350-bhp. The 3.7L is offered in FWD and AWD, whereas the 3.5L V6 is only available with AWD. The interior has three rows of seating for up to seven passengers.
