The Colorado is a midsize truck available in regular, extended, and crew cab models. The Colorado Xtreme is the sport truck in the lineup with a lowered suspension and unique trim. A standard 2.8L I-4 is complemented by an optional 3.5L inline-5 cylinder engine. The engine choices leave the Colorado in an interesting position given the widespread availability of V6 engines in the class. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. Side-curtain airbags are optional. The Colorado can tow up to 4000 lbs. trailer.
