Nissan will introduce a new sub-compact car to the US market to address the sales success of Scion. The new Versa will be sold in both 5-door and sedan forms and will slot below the all-new Sentra due next year. Versa will be powered by a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine rated at 122 hp and 127 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) will be available as an option.
