The audi S4 Cabrio convertible is the high performance version of the A4 Cabrio. The 340hp V8 provides a much needed "shot in the arm" over the plain A4 Cabrio. The V8 power coupled with the convertible body style enhances the appeal. As a general rule, the chassis is a little too flexible in the Cabrios and even more so in the V8 version. The styling is nondescript but attractive whether the top is up or down. The power top is smooth and the electronic controls are nicely integrated with the top operation, i.e. one touch windows, HVAC operation, etc. Unfortunately the S4 is a "pricey" offering at 55K.
