In terms of value, the MDX has been upstaged by its Honda sibling, the Pilot. The MDX is based on Honda's global light truck platform and is powered by a robust 265hp V6. No V8 is offered. It provides a luxury car feel with excellent ride, maneuverability, and a cabin that is roomy and comfortable. Unlike other competitors, the standard AWD anticipates wheel slip. The MDX is not intended for off-road usage.
