The Accord Hybrid is the most palatable application of Hybrid technology to date. The Accord joins the Insight and the Civic Hybrid in Hondas lineup. Rather than introducing a quirky new model, this hybrid is based on an all-star mid-size passenger car. The Integrated Motor Assist system increases fuel economy while also increasing the effective horsepower, torque and acceleration. The Accord Hybrid is positioned as a premium offering above the EX model.
