Kia is positioning the all-new Spectra5 as the sport model of the Spectra lineup. The Spectra5 will compete with the likes of the Focus, Mazda3, and Matrix/Vibe. Power is provided by a 138hp 2.0-liter 4 cylinder with continuously variable valve timing. The Spectra has 4-wheel disc brakes, four-wheel independent suspension, front and rear stabilizer bars and a strut-tower brace. A healthy list of standard features round out the package.
