What Changed

The Ram 1500 series trucks benefit from a number of engineering and powertrain changes for 2013. A new 3.6l V6 engine becomes the new base engine offering 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. A new eight-speed automatic transmission will help increase the fuel economy of both V6 and V8 engines. The most visible change in the appearance of the Ram is the new front end with a more prominent grille.
