Since it is based on the Toyota Land Cruiser platform, the full-size LX 570 has the pedigree for serious off-road travel. The addition of extra luxury features makes the 8-passenger LX 570 more palatable for upscale customers. A 5.7L V-8 mated to a 6-speed automatic is the only powertrain. Full-time 4WD is standard. As the largest Lexus SUV, the LX competes with full-size luxury SUVs like the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, and Infiniti QX. By comparison, the LX570 is smaller, yet more expensive.

What Changed:

The LX skips the 2012 model year and arrives for 2013 with updated front end styling, new body molding and a restyled rear bumper. The new front styling includes a restyled grille to match that of the redesigned 2013 GS. Upgraded headlamps are now HID with LED daytime running lamps. The LX also receives updated instruments and minor trim changes on the inside.
