What Changed

A new Yaris debuts for 2012. The Yaris 3-door and 5-door hatchbacks continue, but the sedan has been dropped. In profile, the styling is similar to the prior model, but the front and rear styling are more aggressive. Compared to the prior model, the new Yaris is 2-3 inches longer in length and wheelbase, but virtually identical in every other dimension. Passenger volume and cargo volume are up slightly. Powertrain choices are identical. All models equip a 1.5 four-cylinder engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
