The gorgeous CLS sedan gets the AMG treatment with the introduction of the CLS63. A new 6.3L V-8 cranks out a massive 507-bhp, which even exceeds the output of the Dodge Viper's 8.3L V-10. A claimed 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 4.5 seconds, and a governed top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) ensure that the CLS63 will live up to the AMG performance reputation. A paddle-shifter AMG SPEEDSHIFT 7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic funnels power to the rear wheels. Mercedes-Benz adds a sophisticated semi-active sport suspension based on the AIRMATIC DC system with ADS II adaptive damping and composite front brakes to keep the CLS63 under control. Interior upgrades include an AMG steering wheel, sports seats, and Nappa leather upholstery.

What Changed:

The CLS receives some minor styling updates for 2009. The grille now has two bars instead of four. Other exterior changes include larger mirrors, new wheels, a new rear bumper and new exhausts. Inside, the CLS receives an updated steering wheel, new gauges and an updated COMAND system.
