2009 Ford Flex
The all-new Flex crossover features three rows of seating accessible through four conventional doors. The Flex is essentially identical in function and size to the Taurus X, but differs wildly in execution and style. The Flex comes in SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels. All three feature the same 3.5L V6 and six-speed automatic transmission under the hood. Both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive are offered on all models.

2009 Ford E-Series Wagon
After getting a nose job for 2008, the E-Series gets a significantly re-worked interior for 2009. The E-Series also add a flexible fuel option.
2009 Ford Escape
The Escape benefits from a powertrain upgrade. A new 2.5L four-cylinder with variable cam timing adds 17-bhp. The 2.5L is ULEV II certified. The same 2.5L four-cylinder also serves as the basis for hybrid models. The 3.0L V6 receives a power bump to 230-bhp. A six-speed automatic is offered for the first time. Several changes including a revised lower front fascia and new tires improve aerodynamics and reduce rolling resistance, thus improving fuel efficiency. The Escape also switches to Ford's capless fuel-filling solution.
2009 Ford Focus Coupe
The Focus coupe receives some minor enhancements to help distinguish it from the sedan. The '09 Focus feature new front and rear fascias. A slight bump in horsepower on manual transmission models and a new final drive ratio ensure improved acceleration. SES models feature standard 17-inch wheels and a spoiler at the top of the rear window.

The Ford Edge gains a Sport trim level for 2009. The Ford Edge Sport wears a unique body kit and 20-inch wheels. The body kit includes a unique front air dam, side skirts rear bumper. All are body-colored. Fog lamps, and smoked headlamp and tail lamp lens covers complete the exterior visual differences. In addition to the 20-inch wheels, the Edge Sport offers a 22-inch wheel package. The interior of the Sport model features unique seat and instrument panel trim.
