The Azera is the flagship of the Hyundai lineup in the US. Called the Grandeur elsewhere, Azera is a large front-wheel drive sedan with a luxury-oriented appointments. Offered in GLS, SE and Limited trim levels, a long list of standard equipment is included including stability control. The top-trim level Limited model features leather interior and a 10-speaker Infinity audio system. A 234hp 3.3L V6 powers the GLS. A more powerful 265hp 3.8L V6 powers the SE and Limited models. A 5-speed automatic transmission is standard. The Azera offers a buyers a distinctive choice with tasteful appointments and a more upscale feel.

What Changed:

In mid-2007, Hyundai updated the Azera with a new GLS entry-level model. While the SE and Limited retain the 3.8L V6, the GLS model features a 3.3L V6 rated at 234 hp. The SE model is re-equipped with larger wheels and chrome insets on the bumpers.
