Toyota has slowly expanded the full-size Tundra lineup to include popular cab styles. The Double Cab features conventional doors for the rear passenger compartment. To make room for the rear passengers, the cargo bed is shorter than the Tundra Regular Cab. A 271-bhp 4.7L V-8 coupled to the 5-speed automatic is the sole powertrain choice (2WD and 4WD). All Tundras have standard skid plates. Properly equipped, the Double Cab can haul up to 1,840 lbs., and tow up to 7,100 lbs. Available option packages include: V8 Towing Package (Class 4 towing hitch receiver, heavy-duty alternator, transmission oil cooler), TRD Off-Road Package (off-road suspension, Bilstein® shock absorbers, 16-inch alloy wheels, and fog lamps), DVD navigation, DVD rear seat entertainment system, and a JBL® 6-disc CD audio system.
