It's easy to understand why the Honda Accord is so popular. A combination of refinement, reliability, and value make the Accord a top choice for a midsize sedan. Engine choice include a 2.4L I-4 or 3.0L V-6 coupled to a 5-speed automatic (5-speed manual is standard on the 2.4L). The V-6 is also available with a 6-speed manual and 17-inch alloy wheels on the Accord EX. For the frugally-minded, the Accord Hybrid offers the V-6 coupled to an electric motor, which provides more power than the standard 3.0L V-6, and better fuel economy than the standard 2.4L I-4 Accord. Side-curtain airbags and ABS are standard. A satellite navigation system is optional. ABS, front-side and side-curtain airbags are standard on all Accords. VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) is available on upper level Accords.

What Changed:

The Accord sedan receives a significant mid-cycle refresh. A sport model joins the lineup pairing a six-speed manual and V6. Improvements include updated front and rear styling with LED taillights. Horsepower increases for both 4-cylinder and V6 models. Stability control has been added as standard equipment to V6 models.
