The A4 sedan is the heart of the Audi lineup. The A4 is available in an impressive number of mechanical configurations including 4-cylinder, V6, and V8 power, FWD and AWD configurations. All versions include Audi's decidedly German combination of handsome styling and mechanical prowess. The top model in the A4 lineup is the S4 performance sedan. Featuring a 340hp V8, quattro all-wheel-drive and six-speed manual the S4 is one the more exhilarating rides around making the $48,000 price tag almost a bargain. The more reasonably priced $30,000 turbocharged four-cylinder and $35,000 V6 model models also offer a lot of performance for the money. As good as the A4 is it competes in what may be the most competitive segment in the whole industry featuring standouts like the BMW 3-series, Infiniti G35 and the revamped Lexus IS, all offering models in the low to mid 30s.

What Changed:

The popular A4 gets restyled front and rear fascias for a slightly more aggressive look, and adopts a larger grille. Powerplants include a 2.0L turbo (2.0T FSI) and a 3.2L V-6. The interior is updated with a new steering wheel.
