The stylish new C-Class gets the sporty C32 AMG for 2002. The Lysholm supercharged/intercooled C32 AMG shares its engine with the SLK32 AMG. With 349-bhp/332 lb.-ft., the Kompressor engine should satisfy most horsepower junkies. 0-60 mph is estimated at just 5 seconds, which should make most muscle cars cower. The Speedhift 5-speed automatic (for 35% faster shifts) is also common with the SLK32 AMG. Uprated brakes, firmer suspension, and body panel modifications are part of the AMG treatment.
