The Acura RS-X is a preliminary look at the Integra replacement. A larger 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC inline-4 makes 200 bhp. The racier engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission. Fat 225/45R18 Michelins are mounted on BBS alloy wheels. Leather-clad Recaro front seats, 6-disc CD audio system, and power moonroof are some of the interior features. 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS are standard. The production version of the RS-X will be introduced in April 2001 at the New York International Auto Show.
