Although old news, the 1997 F-Series was technically an all new vehicle for 1997. F-150 and F-250 Ford trucks are all-new inside and out. 4x2 and 4x4 models are available in Regular and SuperCab and 4 trim levels. SuperCab models receive a standard passenger side rear door. Engine choices are plentiful: a 4.2-liter V-6 (210 hp/225 lb-ft), 4.6-liter V-8 (220hp/ 290 lb-ft) and an optional 5.4-liter V-8 (235hp/330 lb-ft). All engines can be ordered with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.
