Renamed "The Concours of America at Meadow Brook", this classic car show remains unchanged as the one of the best events of its kind. The usual display of pristine restored vehicles from the pre-WWII era was complemented by an impressive collection of Chrysler Woody sedans and wagons from the 1940s. A couple of immaculate Bugatti Type 57 Atalante coupes attracted much attention among show attendees. Other highlights included full-size American coupes from the late 50s, and a selection of Motorama concept cars from GM. Set aside from the main show area were contemporary sports cars from Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Lotus and others, which drew many enthusiasts and prospective customers. Meadow Brook continues to bring together some of the most intriguing and historic classic automobiles, continuing its tradition as one of the best concours in America.
