The EyesOn Design show, held at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford estate, places a premium on automotive design over rarity or value. Unlike most other concours events, modern cars are welcomed to the annual EyesOn Design event. For the 2010 show, there was an abundance of 1950s and '60s American cars, but notable foreign entries included a selection of Porsche 911s spanning 40+ years. A few Ferraris such as a 288 GTO and a Daytona, as well as a Lancia Scorpion, and DeTomaso Mangusta were shown. Muscle cars from GM, Ford, Chrysler, and AMC were well represented, with the exception of Camaros and Firebirds. In the middle of the field were stunning 1960s examples of the Oldsmobile Toronado, Buick Riviera, and Cadillac Eldorado. Packards, Plymouths, and Buicks were everywhere, and even a couple of Studebakers were nestled in among the more commonplace Fords. What makes the EyesOn Design show unique is that it highlights cars that the average enthusiast could actually afford to own.
