The Meadow Brook Concours is one of the top classic car events in the US. For 2008, the 100th anniversary of GM was an opportunity to display concept cars from the 1960s and 70s; some of these rarely exhibited show cars were the design inspiration for many production Corvettes and Rivieras. Other noteworthy automobiles at the Concours included the Bertone B.A.T. 11 concept, a Lamborghini Miura, various classic Ferraris, a Peugeot 402, several early Bentleys, and a few rare Allards. Of course, the usual collection of Packards, Cadillacs, and Duesenbergs rounded out the collection of classic cars. Although the 2008 Meadow Brook Concours wasn't as comprehensive as in past years, the quality and rarity of the vehicles on display was unsurpassed.
