There are few Ferraris more iconic than the 250 GTO, and Pebble Beach had two examples on the field. Aston Martin had a nearly complete set of DB-Series cars displayed for all to see. A D-Type and a road-going XK-SS represented Jaguar's racing history. Cars from ERA, Riley, and Sunbeam represented the early days of open-wheel racing. Duesenbergs, Cords, and Auburns from the 1930s exemplified American style and power. A gorgeous Talbot-Lago coupe by Figoni and Falaschi was a show-stopper from the pre-WWII era. It's difficult to summarize the Pebble Beach Concours in words; we can only say that knowledgeable enthusiasts will brave the crowds for the opportunity to see these unique automobiles.
