The New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) is the last major US show for 2006. All the manufacturers ensure that any hot vehicles available in 2006 make an appearance at this show. Check out the lightly disguised Acura MDX Concept, and the new RDX compact SUV. Mustang enthusiasts who recall the GT350-H should see the new Mustang GT, available for rental from Hertz. Lancer EVO fans will flock to the Mitsubishi Concept-X for a hint of the next generation car. The slick Scion Fuse Concept will make a big splash for this youth-oriented Toyota brand. VW hopes that buyers will remember the Rabbit, as it renames the Golf for the US market. BMW shows the new Z4 M Coupe, which is faster than the legendary M3. Nissan Altima customers should look at the new generation car, while the Infiniti G35 sedan get a major refresh for 2007. Luxury convertibles such as the Bentley Continental GTC will be a popular dream car for many attendees. With so much to see at the NYIAS, this show should not be missed.
