When the first BMW ALPINA XB7 left final assembly at BMW Plant Spartanburg in South Carolina in 2020, it marked the very first time an ALPINA model had ever been completed outside of the ALPINA workshop in Buchloe, approximately one hour west of BMW's Munich headquarters.
