Nissan
The 2026 Nissan Armada benefits from more than 40 years of performance expertise with the introduction of the model's first-ever NISMO grade. Armada NISMO injects even more distinctive style and handling enhancements to Nissan's highly capable full-size SUV, delivering an exciting everyday drive.
NISMO's targeted engineering updates enhance Armada's performance with increased engine output, retuned steering, sportier suspension tuning and a more evocative exhaust note. A stunning new performance-inspired package features NISMO-designed body parts and interior trim pieces, with the in-house division's signature Stealth Gray two-tone color scheme.
The 2026 Armada will reach Nissan dealerships this fall.
Engineered for more excitement
Armada NISMO's twin-turbo, direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 engine has been optimized by NISMO engineers to deliver an additional 35 horsepower over other Armada models, for a total of 460 horsepower (when using premium fuel only)1. Revised engine programming and careful fine-tuning of valve clearances enable this additional performance. The engine shouts more loudly through a retuned exhaust system, while Active Sound Enhancement within the cabin amplifies the engine notes to thrill everyone on board.
Improvements under the hood are complemented by NISMO-exclusive tuning with the electric power steering reworked for a sportier feel, and the Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension2 producing a more responsive driving experience. NISMO-exclusive forged alloy wheels, measuring 22 inches in diameter, wear a higher-performance all-season tire to help optimize handling, steering, braking and acceleration.
Looks fast, standing still
The 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO benefits from a comprehensive makeover that not only updates the vehicle with NISMO's iconic style, but also enhances the vehicle's aerodynamic performance. The front and rear fascia, grille, side steps and rear spoiler were all designed by NISMO, giving the SUV a more performance-oriented appearance. Fender flares are standard for a wider, bolder stance. Armada NISMO also wears LED front fog lights and red-painted brake calipers.
Inside, NISMO-specific quilted leather appointments are finished in charcoal with red accents and stitching. Other additions include adjustable side bolsters for the front seats, which help snug occupants in place during spirited driving, plus aluminum pedals and multicolor ambient lighting.
Armada NISMO is offered in several exclusive color choices: NISMO Stealth Gray, NISMO Stealth Gray with Super Black roof, and Black Diamond Pearl. Also available: Everest White Pearl Tricoat and Everest White Pearl Tricoat with Super Black roof.
A multi-decade legacy of capability
SUVs that confidently conquer tough terrains have been part of Nissan's DNA since 1951. The Nissan Patrol, first introduced overseas and brought to the U.S. market in 1962, put Nissan on the map with its ability to tackle both the Australian outback and sand dunes in the Middle East - and most environments in between.
With more than 1.9 million Patrol SUVs sold around the world3 over seven generations, today's Armada NISMO builds on a wealth of experience and knowledge in bringing capability to paved roads and beyond. Like the first-ever Armada PRO-4X, the new NISMO grade was carefully engineered and tested to perform in demanding environments.
Built on an uncompromising base
Just one model year after the current generation's introduction, the 2026 Nissan Armada continues to make its mark on the full-size SUV segment with supreme comfort, premium interior features, confident handling, effortless off-road capability and next-level technologies. Offered in SV, SL, Platinum, PRO-4X, NISMO and Platinum Reserve grades, there is an Armada for every adventure.
All non-NISMO Armada grades offer the confident performance of a twin-turbo, 3.5-liter V6 engine rated for 425 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque4, coupled to a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. All grades have a standard towing capacity of up to 8,500 pounds5. Available Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension6 allows for raising or lowering the vehicle's height for easier ingress, while optimizing ride and handling over varied road conditions.

Armada also offers Nissan's first available Klipsch(R) premium audio system, with 12 speakers to keep everyone on board entertained and immersed in rich, lifelike music.
For those venturing off-road, Armada offers its first-ever PRO-4X grade, featuring all-terrain tires, an off-road-specific front bumper with an increased approach angle, underbody skid plates, an electronic locking differential and Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension. It stands out from other SUVs at the trailhead with fender flares, 20-inch painted PRO-4X wheels and numerous Lava Red accents.
New for the 2026 model year, Armada PRO-4X grade can optionally be equipped with second-row captain's chairs instead of a second-row bench seat.
