The new Chrysler Town & Country exterior design starts with clean, tailored lines that create better aerodynamics and a solid stance on the road. With cues from the Chrysler 300 like a similar body-to-glass proportion, simple wheel flares, sleeker pillars, chrome accents and detailed ornamentation, the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country is at home at the country club or the hockey arena.

Unique Chrysler exterior design cues include a distinctive front end with the "face of Chrysler" grille featuring the Chrysler winged badge, quad headlamps and clean, tailored lines. Chrome accents that include the belt molding, mirror cap, light bar and door handles make the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country a noticeable member of the Chrysler family.

"The 2008 Chrysler Town & Country is a contemporary, elegant, tailored vehicle inside and out," said Trevor Creed, Senior Vice President - Chrysler Group Design.

A roomier feel was created for the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country by widening the roof six inches, giving the beltline more rake and lowering and pulling out the sill to create a better relationship with the tires. Tire size also increased by an inch and the Daylight Opening (DLO) drip line was lowered to create a body-to-glass proportion similar to the Chrysler 300. These new design ingredients result in a contemporary, tailored appearance for a stable, solid stance on the road.

"The 2008 Chrysler Town & Country trades its familiar, elliptical shape for one that is contemporary and sheer, but protective," said Creed. "The Town & Country is a 'grown-up' minivan that offers elegant design cues and premium interior amenities wrapped in a stable, solid stance."

A more contemporary interior is created with a combination of satin finishes and Elm Burl or Medrona Burl wood and leather interior trim. The unique Chrysler instrument panel includes an analog clock and is accented by tailored lines and rich trim.

In designing the interior of the all-new 2008 Chrysler Town & Country, no detail was overlooked. The comforts of a well-appointed home were incorporated in the vehicle to make time spent traveling, time well-spent for families. Detail was driven into every facet of the Chrysler Town & Country, from the analog clock in the dash to the detail along the D-pillar.

The Chrysler Town & Country will be available in eight exterior colors: Clearwater Blue, Deep Crimson Crystal, Light Sandstone Metallic, Bright Silver Metallic, Modern Blue, Inferno Red, Brilliant Black Metallic and Stone White.

Interior colors are Medium Pebble Beige, Medium Slate Gray and Medium Pebble Beige Cream.
