What Changed
The new X1 slots below the X3 in BMW's lineup of crossovers. Compared to the BMW X3, the X1 is shorter by 7 inches in length, 4 inches narrower in width and 5 inches shorter in height. Two powertrains are offered: a 241-bhp turbocharged four-cylinder (sDrive28i/xDrive28i) and a 300-bhp inline six-cylinder (xDrive35i). A six-speed automatic is standard on all models.
