The Equator is Suzuki's first pickup truck for the US market. The Equator is a variant of the Nissan Frontier and is manufactured by Nissan. The Equator wears a large front grille to distinguish it from the Frontier. The standard 152-bhp 2.5L I-4 can be replaced with a 261-bhp 4.0L V-6. The Equator is offered in two cab styles: extended cab and crew cab. The Equator can tow up to 6300 lbs. depending on the model. Suzuki offers just a handful of Equator models. Prospective buyers may need to check out the Nissan Frontier for more extensive options.
