Overview Information
The flagship Avalon is the most luxurious and spacious Toyota offered. Larger proportions and a more powerful engine set the Avalon apart from the mid-sized Camry. Avalon is offered in XL, XLS, and Limited trim levels each with a healthy list of standard equipment. All models are powered by a 268 hp 3.5L V6 coupled to a 5-speed automatic transmission. This is sufficient performance to guide the Avalon from 0-60 in a claimed 6.6 seconds. Optional features befitting a flagship product include power-operated and ventilated seats, reclining rear seats, laser-guided cruise control, and keyless operation. With restrained but classy styling, a large interior, and a dose of Lexus luxury and refinement, the Avalon now belongs at the top of Toyotas lineup.

The Toyota Avalon, now in its third generation, established a new model for full-size sedans when the first-generation model was first introduced in 1995. Avalon provides an exceptionally roomy and comfortable cabin - including 40.9 inches of rear legroom - but with far better driving dynamics than customers had experienced with "traditional" full-size models.
