The small Mitsubishi Outlander has been often overlooked in a segment that contains strong sellers like the Toyota RAV4 and Hyundai Sante Fe. The Outlander has a decidedly sportier feel as it shares its underpinnings with the Lancer compact sedan. As with many of its competitors, the second generation Outlander has grown in size to allow for optional 3rd row seating. A 3.0L MIVEC V-6 mated to a 6-speed Sportronic(R) automatic should ensure a competitive powertrain. Both FWD and AWD versions are offered. Options include a 650-watt Rockford Fosgate(R) audio system, DVD entertainment, and a navigation system.

What Changed:

The 2010 Outlander has a restyled front end. A new GT trim level features an upgraded all-wheel-drive system.
