Entry-level luxury, Lexus style

Overview Information

This upscale cousin of the Camry was revamped for 2007, with a new 272-bhp 3.5L V-6 and a 6-speed automatic. Notable features include adaptive front headlights that swivel to illuminate curves, heated/ventilated front seats, and an optional Mark Levinson 7.1-channel audio system. Enhancements such as 10 airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, and a rear view camera should please safety-conscious buyers. Lexus views the IS and ES as an entry-level duo. The IS appeals to the customers with sportier tastes, while the ES is there for attainable luxury.
