Overview Information

The R32 is best described as an Audi A3 with two doors and a VW badge. Powered by a 250-bhp 3.2L VR6 engine via a 6-speed DSG transmission, the AWD R32 accelerates from 0-62 MPH in 6.5 seconds. Top speed is limited to 130 MPH for US models. VW developed a lowered fully independent sport suspension with a wider track for improved handling compared to the GTI. Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and ABS are standard. The R32 is well equipped with standard sport seats (heated), sunroof, alloy pedals, brushed chrome trim, 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/40R18 summer tires (all-season tires optional), and xenon HID lights. A DVD navigation system is optional, but it eliminates the standard CD changer.
