    Toyota's largest SUV, the Sequoia is all new for 2008. Based on the Tundra, the second generation Sequoia has grown in every conceivable dimension to match its domestic rivals. Powered by either a 4.7L V-8 or 5.7L V-8, the Sequoia boasts tow ratings up to 10000 pounds. The Sequoia is available in 2WD and 4WD models.

The second-generation Sequoia has grown in every conceivable dimension to match its domestic rivals. Powered by either a 4.7L V-8 or 5.7L V-8, the Sequoia boasts tow ratings up to 10,000 pounds. The Sequoia is available in 2WD and 4WD models. Pricing now crosses into $50,000 range.

Land Cruiser is also all new for 2008. Although the wheelbase is the same, this rolling legend is longer and wider than the model it replaces. The big change is under the hood, where a 5.7L V8 has replaced last year's 4.7L V8, boosting horsepower by over 100horsepowerto 381-bhp. The price tag has also jumped to over $63,000.

Avalon, Toyota's flagship sedan, receives some minor styling tweaks and a new six-speed transmission for 2008.

Corolla and Corolla Matrix will be replaced with new models in February. Both models are 2009 model year products.
