Saturn finally gets a decent mid-size
Overview Information
As a replacement for the discontinued L-series sedans, the Aura is long overdue. Based closely on its Opel counterpart, this new Saturn is a credible midsize competitor. The attractive interior is a pleasant departure from the sea of plastic that plagued earlier Saturn vehicles. A new 4-panel sliding Panoramic roof offers a greater open-air experience. Powertrain choices include a 224-bhp 3.5L OHV V-6 & 4-speed automatic, or a 252-bhp 3.6L DOHC V-6 mated to a new 6T70 6-speed automatic. Both engines use variable valve timing for enhanced power and torque. A total of six airbags and Stabilitrak(R) stability control are standard.
What Changed:
An entry-level 2.4L four-cylinder model has been added. The Aura Green Line offers a hybrid powertrain boasting EPA ratings of 24/32.
