Overview Information
With its semi-truck styling, the F-Series Super Duty is a truck that tows up to 24,500 lbs., plus it offers a maximum payload of 6,000 lbs. Aimed at contractors for industrial duty, Ford equips this truck with a new OHV 6.4L turbodiesel puts out 350-bhp and 650 lb.-ft. A 6-speed manual is the sole transmission. Ford offers a 6.75-ft. and 8-ft. bed lengths on two different wheelbases. Standard wheels are 19.5-inch forged alloys. Options include DVD navigation, DVD rear seat entertainment, tailgate step, bed extender, supplemental cab heater, and a 4x4 Off Road package.
What Changed:
Ford's Super Duty line has been updated for 2008 featuring an all-new interior and updated chassis. The engine range includes a new 6.4L Power Stroke Diesel. A new F-450 model joins lineup offering towing capability of over 24,000 lbs.
