Overview Information

Acura finally gets a compact SUV slotted below the popular MDX. The new RDX is the first turbocharged vehicle in the Acura lineup and the first for any Honda vehicle in North America. The zoomy engine, with its torque output of 260 lb.-ft., should catch the attention of performance-oriented SUV buyers. An optional 410-watt 10-speaker audio system will even play DVD-Audio discs through eight separate channels. Safety features include four airbags, plus two side-curtain airbags.
