Arguably the best Pontiac in a long time. The 2-seat roadster features handsome styling and a rewarding driving experience. The Solstice provides the first credible competition for the Miata at this price point. Solstice rides on an all-new compact, RWD platform and is powered by a 2.4L 4-cylinder. Buyers can opt for either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. A turbocharged GXP model features a direct-injection, turbocharged 2.0L engine boosting horsepower to an estimated 260hp. The power increase is sufficient for a credible claim of 0-60 in under 5.5s. Depending on pricing, the GXP model sweetens an already irresistible offering.
