Second generation M class is a very competitive offering
Overview Information
The new M-class is nearly 6 inches longer and 3 in wider than the model it replaces which adds some badly needed room on the interior. Two engines are offered: an all-new 268hp 3.5L V6 in the ML350 and a 302hp 5.0L V8 in the ML500. Both engines are mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.
What Changed:
The ML63 AMG model joins the lineup. The 6.3L V8 is the first powerplant developed by AMG from the ground up. The AMG model is distinguised by unique front and rear aprons, distinct front grille, fender flares and stainless-steel runing boards. A 215hp diesel powertrain will joins the lineup later in the model year.
