The model that started it all for Lexus is all-new again for 2007 offering an extended wheelbase model for the first time. The LS460 and LS460L set a new standard for an automobile that has long been considered nearly perfect but somewhat boring. In addition to a long list of technical features and innovations the new LS boasts a 100 hp increase in performance and the industry's first 8-speed automatic transmission. Also new this year is the restyled ES350. The FWD, Camry-based sedan serves as the entry-level luxury sedan for Lexus. The long-awaited GS hybrid appears this year. The rest of the lineup enjoys an engine upgrade to a larger 3.5L V6. Most models see an increase of > 50 hp.
