Overview Information
The Crown Victoria is a traditional large RWD sedan popular for police cruisers and taxicabs. Retail customers like this full-size car for its roomy interior and value pricing. The LX Sport model, equipped with a Handling and Performance package has a high output 4.6L V-8, 17-inch alloy wheels, upgraded suspension, and a heavy-duty torque converter. The sole transmission is a 4-speed automatic. Side airbags and traction control optional.
What Changed:
Lineup simplified to two trim levels: Standard and LX. New premium sport handling and performance package available on LX model. AM/FM/CD audio system and remote keyless entry become standard on all models.
