Newest Mustang looks back to the 1960's for inspiration.

Overview Information

The Ford Mustang is instantly recognizable as an American icon. This latest iteration emulates the classic styling of the Mustangs from the late 1960's. Engine choices include a 4.0L V-6 or 4.6L V-8, combined with a 5-speed manual or automatic. All Mustangs share a solid rear axle just like their classic predecessors. The Mustang GT offers a unique combination of power, style, and value that is unmatched in its segment. ABS and traction control are standard on the GT. Options include 18-inch alloy wheels, and Shaker 500 audio system.

What Changed:

The Mustang will also gain a limited-edition California Special package to be offered on GT models. The package features unique front and rear fascias, lowered ride height (1.5 in.), side scoops, and side racing stripes. The package will be offered in Redfire Metallic, Performance White, Vista Blue Metallic or Black.
