Cadillac's fortunes have changed for the better. Its return to notoriety has been due to the success of the Cadillac Escalade SUVs. For 2007, all variations of the Escalade have been significantly restyled. Exteriors are more refined. The interiors are more upscale and more befitting vehicles selling in excess of $50,000. Overshadowed by the Escalade, the SRX wagon receives a new interior with more upscale looking appointments. The V8-powered SRX, STS and XLR models all gain a standard six-speed automatic. Cadillac's solid CTS sedan is due for an update next model year.
