The Ranier is Buick's first true body on frame SUV offering. Ranier's rides on GM's ubiquitous short wheelbase GMT360 platform which is shared with the Trailblazer, Envoy, Isuzu Ascender, and Saab 9-7X. Extra attention has been paid to making the ride quiet. Available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, the Ranier's standard powerplant is the 275 hp I6 engine.
