The Santa Fe is a small car-based SUV. Slightly larger than the Tucson, the Santa Fe distinguishes itself by offering only V6 power. Most models in the class offer 4-cylinder models for increased fuel economy. Santa Fe base models are equipped with a 173hp 2.7L V6 and 4-speed automatic, whereas the upper-range models include a more powerful 200hp 3.5L V6 and 5-speed automatic. Buyers can choose from FWD or AWD with either powertrain. The Santa Fe will be updated in 2007.
