2006 Honda Ridgeline
First-ever truck offering from Honda. Ridgeline has a unit-body structure with an integrated frame. It is offered in three trim levels and one mechanical configuration. Power is provided by a 250hp V6 to all four wheels with a full-time four-wheel drive system. A 5-speed automatic is standard. A number of innovations have been added including a dual-hinged tailgate and an under-floor trunk for secure storage.
2006 Honda Accord Coupe
The Accord coupe receives a significant mid-cycle refresh. Improvements include updated front and rear styling with LED taillights. Horsepower increases for both 4-cylinder and V6 models. Stability control has been added as standard equipment to V6 models.
2006 Honda Accord Sedan
The Accord sedan receives a significant mid-cycle refresh. A sport model joins the lineup pairing a six-speed manual and V6. Improvements include updated front and rear styling with LED taillights. Horsepower increases for both 4-cylinder and V6 models. Stability control has been added as standard equipment to V6 models.
2006 Honda Pilot
The Pilot gets a new FWD model this year and the V6 features Honda's cylinder deactivation technology to increae fuel economy. Front end styling changes make the Pilot look more like its light truck sibling the Ridgeline.
2006 Honda Element
A new trim level appears offering painted body panels and door handles.
2006 Honda Odyssey
DVD system offered on base Touring model without navigation system.
An all-new lineup of Civics hits the market this year, the most exciting of which is a 197 hp Civic Si coupe. The Accord gets some mild restyling. Aggressive exterior and interior styling across the Civic lineup should silence criticism that the Civic had become staid. Honda enters a very traditional truck market with an innovative clean-sheet type of product, the Ridgeline. The Pilot SUV receives some minor apperance changes to make it look more like the Ridgeline.
