A decent blend of SUV and minivan qualities
Overview Information
The Rendezvous is the Pontiac Aztek done right. It offers a good on-road ride with optional all-wheel drive for improved traction. Rendezvous's mini-van derived platfrom allows for three rows of seating in a fairly compact package. The optional Ultra model offers a huge engine upgrade with a 3.6 litre V6 rated at 240hp versus the 200 hp in the standard 3.5L V6. Unfortunately, upgrades come at a stiff premium. An all-wheel drive Rendezvous runs $35-$40K. At that price there's a lot of stiff competition.

A 201hp 3.5L V6 becomes standard engine.
