Overview Information

Station wagon models are not always the strongest sellers in the US, but many European manufacturers like Audi bring station wagon versions of their sedans for those buyers looking for an extra bit of utility. The A4 Avant is the wagon version of the popular A4 compact sedan. The A4 range is broad, ranging from a FWD, turbocharged 4-cylinder to the exhilarating AWD, V8-powered S4. Apart from the increased cargo flexibility, the A4 wagons offer all the same amenities as their sedan counterparts. While all A4s offer a rewarding drive, the 340hp V8 S4 Avant may be one of the best "sleeper" models on the market.

What Changed:

The A4 Avant wagon gets restyled front and rear fascias for a slightly more aggressive look, and adopts the new corporate grille. Powerplants include a 2.0L turbo (2.0T FSI) and a 3.2L V-6. The interior is updated with a new steering wheel.
