Toyota showed the radically aggressive RSC compact coupe/SUV at the 2001 Chicago Auto Show. Based on the 2nd generation RAV4 platform, the 4WD RSC was styled by Toyota's CALTY design studio in California. The interior features an integrated GPS receiver and carbon-fiber racing seats. The 2+2 RSC has rear seats that fold down to reveal a hard surfaced cargo area.
